The Parish Council tend to meet on the second Tuesday of every month, except in August, in the Village Hall. The Agenda for the next meeting is published at least three working days before the date of the meeting in the various noticeboards around the parish  and also on the Parish Council’s website.

If any members of the public would like the Parish Council to discuss a particular subject or initiative, they should contact the Clerk before the agenda is published so this can be raised as an item for discussion at the next meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings and are able to speak at the Council’s discretion for approximately five minutes. The Parish Council welcome engagement from members of the public and are always interested in hearing from parishioners.

Between meetings, members of the public are encouraged to contact the Clerk who will endeavour to answer any queries raised as soon as possible. If an item requires a quick decision, this item will be reported (published) on the  agenda for ratification at the next meeting.

If any members of the public have a complaint or grievance, please contact the Clerk in the first instance or the Chairman. The Clerk/Chairman will then investigate the complaint further and carry out an internal review. If a member of the public is not satisfied by the Clerk’s response, or believes that the Parish Council and/or Councillor(s) have breached the Code of Conduct, they should contact the Monitoring Officer at Canterbury City Council and submit their complaint in writing (please see Standing Orders no14 for more information).
